Vitamin Hertz
Based in London, Vitamin Hertz (or VHZ, as it’s often abbreviated) is a record label that produces music in the house, progressive, trance, techno, and hardcore genres. The label has released music by artists including Pynappol, Alter Modo, 3CITY, and McIntox, to name a few. Since its early inception, VHZ has always focused on showcasing rising talent in the electronic dance music scene.
The label’s name was chosen in careful consideration of the company’s goals. Just as vitamins are catalysts for reactions within the body which allow chemical reactions to occur more rapidly and efficiently, VHZ prides itself on rapid productivity and efficiency with high-quality music releases. Tracks are produced with current quality standards in mind, yet daring in their experimentation of new sounds, not simply chasing trendy ideas for popularity’s sake. This unique outlook can be heard within the music itself, thus making it pleasing to listen to on a variety of levels.
Upon listening to the music, the listener is taken on a journey, traveling through vast metaphorical fields of rhythm, vibration, and soundwaves. For a moment, it seems as though the mind and heart are given free rein, as the music bridges the gap between the earthly and spiritual, far beyond the reaches of science. These are the reactions that Vitamin Hertz has always sought to provide. VHZ is the audio catalyst of the music industry, creating vibrant tracks from blank canvases.
